In December 2023,
ExploreLearning surveyed teachers in the Collab Crew, a group of educators working alongside our Design and Research teams for math and science EdTech solutions to transform teaching and learning. The online survey asked for insights and reflections from experiences using Gizmos and STEM Cases. The powerful results show a variety of ways teachers, curriculum coordinators, and administrators use Gizmos and STEM Cases in classrooms to impact student learning.
Exploring the research findings of ExploreLearning Gizmos
ExploreLearning understands that EdTech research is the foundation for teaching and learning with EdTech tools. For this study, a total of 66 teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools participated in the survey. The research aimed to answer the following questions:

What about effective strategies for different learning goals? The research was clear about the benefits of Gizmos. A majority of teachers use Gizmos to help students visualize science concepts, foster interest in science, and collect valuable data for student learning. STEM Case users used the tool to build connections with everyday life and develop scientific reasoning skills.
